Sabrina Illiano
LAW & POLICY INTERN
Sabrina is a recent graduate of NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she completed a concentration in human rights, international law, and cultural heritage politics with a minor in Middle Eastern studies on an Arabic language track. Her interdisciplinary research draws on these fields in order to explore the interplay between human rights and cultural heritage in the Middle East. She is particularly interested in how examining this relationship might facilitate better understandings of how material history and foreign policy intersect in contexts of armed conflict. In the fall, Sabrina will begin studying for an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy at the University of Oxford. At the YPP, Sabrina conducts war crimes monitoring, and tracks legislative and legal efforts relating to the war in Yemen.
