Ethel Mwedziwendira

Ethel Mwedziwendira is a senior at the University of Mississippi, where she is pursuing a B.A. in Journalism with a print emphasis and a minor in Political Science. Her work has taken her across Mississippi and parts of Sri Lanka, where she recently traveled to write about developments in the country 10 years after its civil war.

At the YPP, Ethel is responsible for monitoring news international coverage, writing news summaries and original content for the blog, managing the organization's social media platforms, designing graphics, drafting email updates for donors and subscribers, and drafting and editing press releases and articles for publication.
