The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs released a statement on the situation in Yemen expressing concern about escalating hostilities in the Tihamah coastal region.

Houthis reportedly moved fifty Iranian experts from Hudaydah to other locations as coalition forces push further into the city’s hinterland, according to pro-coalition sources.

Houthis reportedly arrested several officials in the GPC including Khalid Abu-Edah and Amer Rafiq during a funeral in San’a. Their whereabouts are still unknown.

Pro-government forces reportedly continued advancing into Ta’iz and took control of strategic points, including al-Owaid mountain and the hills of al-Barkanah and Asilah.
